The Norwich Society

Corporate Membership

“It is business and commerce that has given the city its  heritage. It is essential that we all continue to work together to leave a richer inheritance for future generations”

Norwich Society Chairman Alec Hartley.

Since 1923 the Norwich Society has sought to:

  • Encourage high standards of architecture and town planning in Norwich
  • Stimulate public interest in and care for the beauty, history and character of the City and its surroundings
  • Encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic interest
  • Pursue these ends by means of meetings, exhibitions, lectures, publications, other forms of instruction and publicity, by co-operation with the Local Authorities and other bodies, and promotion of schemes of a charitable nature.
All of these are essential to the health of businesses in Norwich. Involving the corporate community in our work increases our impact and offers a wide range of benefits to corporate members and their employees.
