Norwich Society Chairman Alec Hartley.Since 1923 the Norwich Society has sought to:
- Encourage high standards of architecture and town planning in Norwich
- Stimulate public interest in and care for the beauty, history and character of the City and its surroundings
- Encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic interest
- Pursue these ends by means of meetings, exhibitions, lectures, publications, other forms of instruction and publicity, by co-operation with the Local Authorities and other bodies, and promotion of schemes of a charitable nature.

Corporate Members Business Breakfast

Corporate members (existing and potential) are invited to a breakfast at the historic Norfolk Club where Tim Townsend, a Trustee of the Norwich Society and past Chairman of the Norfolk Club will talk about the history of the club and its place in modern Norwich.

Corporate members (existing and potential) are invited to a guided tour of the historic and hidden Assembly House by Jan King, past Chairman of the Norwich Society and Blue Badge Guide.
Followed by a superb Gourmet Breakfast in the Ivory Room from ‘The House’ chef/patron Richard Hughes. A perfect opportunity to sample the delights of the new catering and management at the Assembly House.
