The Norwich Society introduced a new award for conservation architecture in memory of Sir Bernard Feilden (1919-2008) which was given to Cinema City.  Lady Feilden presented the award which is a model of one of the Assyrian lions from outside City Hall made by Norwich sculptor Do Philips.

Marcus Binney CBE, the architectural Correspondent for The Times and the president of SAVE Britain’s Heritage gave the address on The Battle for Britain’s Historic Towns.
