Officers
The Executive Committee chaired by Peter Bentley is the principal body responsible for running the affairs of the Society. The committee receives recommendations from its subsidiary committees and representatives and establishes coherent views and strategies.
The Committee is not concerned simply with the conservation of the many fine historic buildings in the city. It also seeks to influence the city planners regarding current developments so that future generations can look back with pride at what the present generation has achieved.
